About John
After a 20 year career working with the United Nations, across Africa and the Middle East, John shifted focus back to his childhood passions of wildlife and photography.
He is an award winning wildlife cinematographer and photographer and has filmed on natural history productions for BBC, Netflix, Apple, Disney and National Geographic, including Planet Earth 3 and Our Planet 2.
John has travelled across all the continents in search of wildlife, including Antarctica, the Arctic and on the summit of Everest.
He has spent more than ten years living and working in East Africa and has an intimate knowledge of the wildlife of the Maasai Mara in Kenya.
John hosts and guides photographic safaris in the Maasai Mara and beyond.
He uses MLIMA in the Maasai Mara, Kenya as a base for filming and photography.
